A realm is a self-contained world within Guncho. Realms are written by many different authors and, just like with interactive fiction, each author has a unique vision for his or her realm. A realm can be just about anything, from a chatting mud-like environment, to a world full of puzzles and quests for several players, or anything in between.

You create a realm in the control panel. Then, you upload your Inform source code and, if all goes well, the realm is available for you to enter and explore. To do so, type:

@teleport <realmname>

By changing the privacy level, you can make your realm publicly teleportable, meaning anybody can @teleport into it, and you can also make the source code for your realm publicly visible. On the other hand, if you're working on a top-secret project, you can make the realm completely invisible to other players.

Once the realm is ready for public use, you may add it to the list of realms and get it linked in.
